Cookies not enabled or blocked
• Enable cookies in the browser for the local scout domains scoutswa.com.au & scouts.org.au • Allow cookies from scout domains in antivirus software • Allow cookies from scout domains in malware software • Allow cookies from scout domains in spyware software • Reduce the security setting in Internet Explorer (NOTE: the default settings nearly always work!)
• Use Internet Explorer browser
Open a PDF file in another window and get a “page not found” error!
This appears to be a corrupted link
• Get the link fixed – notify Branch Office of the link in question • Right click the link and use “save as” option from the menu • Download the PDF file to the local computer and open it locally in a PDF reader • Ask Branch Office to email you the document in question
Left or Right click on a link and light blue bar appears and cannot open or download linked file
Identified as a web design issue and affects only older versions of browsers

Enable popup windows for the scout domains (Note: this is not a security risk) Issue: A flashing cursor or cursor artifact appearing where you would not expect one on a web page - It's a minor annoyance, sure, but it's an annoyance nonetheless
I'm not sure why it shows up, but it seems to be random. It appears to only affect Mozilla based browsers. Solution: Press F7 to disable caret blinking [flashing cursor] [Note: F7 also enables the blinking, it toggles between the two states]
